#ZeeNewsSealKaro Demand Twitterati After 28 Employees In Noida Office Test Positive For Coronavirus
Just recently it has been reported that 28 employees who work in Zee News Noida office have been diagnosed with Coronavirus. The news was shared by Editor In Chief, Zee News Sudhir Chaudhary who took to his Twitter handle and shared a bunch of tweets regarding the same. He told his followers that 28 colleagues at Zee News were tested positive for COVID-19. However, he also assured everyone that they are fine and mostly asymptomatic while wishing them a speedy recovery and saluting them for their courage.

His tweet read, “These are difficult times. 28 of my colleagues at @ZeeNews have tested positive for COVID-19. Thankfully all of them are fine, mostly asymptomatic. I wish them a speedy recovery and salute their courage & professionalism. Sharing the official statement with you.” Seeing this tweet, netizens were not happy with the decision as they thought Sudhir had hidden the news of 28 people getting infected, while some say that Zee News is the hub of Coronavirus and hence, demanded a seal on the company in order to save India as they started # ZeeNewsSealKaro on social media

With this, he wrote another tweet which looked like he is giving them an explanation, “Team @ZeeNews is on the frontline, while social media stone pelters spread rumours. Those who are infected had the option of sitting at home & sharing memes. They came to work because they’re committed professionals. If you can’t show them respect, don’t expose your spiteful selves!” He even shared a tweet just to set the record straight, “There’s a malicious campaign going on to distort my words & target @ZeeNews. Setting the record straight-

1. No infected employee came to work. One person had been away from work since Monday & tested positive on Friday

2. All his contacts were tested & immediately quarantined”

“All actions taken by @ZeeNews after the first case came to light are a matter of record and can be verified. My tweet refers to all media persons who have the option of staying at home but come to work despite the risk. To deliberately misinterpret this is unfortunate & vile,” another tweet read.

As the #ZeeNewsSealKaro started trending, taking over the second spot in the trend, he then shared a statement along with a note that read, “BREAKING NEWS for those who are tweeting #ZeeNewsSealKaro! Our office, newsroom and studios were sealed on Friday itself by the very efficient NOIDA authorities. Read the official statement carefully. And stop spreading lies. The world has enough to deal with already.”
