'Shared False Information,' AB De Villiers Backtracks On Virat Kohli-Anushka Sharma's Second Pregnancy Comment
Shortly after indicating that Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma were expecting their second child, AB de Villiers retracted his statement, admitting to a 'terrible mistake.' The former South Africa captain had made the surprising revelation when Kohli opted out of the first two test matches against England.

In a YouTube live Q&A session, AB de Villiers provided an update on Virat Kohli, stating, "All I know is he is fine. He is spending a bit of time with his family, that is the reason he is missing the first two Test matches. I am not going to confirm anything else. I cannot wait to see him back. He is fine, he is happy." ALSO READ: Anushka Sharma-Virat Kohli Expecting Second Child Together! AB De Villiers CONFIRMS The News Online - WATCH VIDEO

He then shared a conversation with Kohli, saying, "Let me just see what he said. I just want to at least give you a little bit of love. So I wrote to him 'Been wanting to check in with you for a while now biscuits. How are you?'. He said 'Just need to be with my family right now'. Then I said I am doing well."

The Ex RCB star previously said, “Yes, his second child is on the way. Yes, it's family time and things are important to him. If you are not true and genuine to yourself, you lose track of what you are here for. I think most people's priority is family. You can't judge Virat for that. Yes, we miss him, but he has made the right decision,"  Rumors regarding Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma anticipating their second child have been circulating for a considerable duration.

The speculation gained momentum when Kohli opted out of the initial two Tests in the IDFC First Bank Test series against England, citing personal reasons.

Having exchanged vows in 2017, the couple joyfully welcomed their first child, a daughter named Vamika, into the world in 2021.
