‘Extramarital Affairs With Prostitutes, Dowry Demands’: Mohammed Shami’s Estranged Wife Hasin Jahan Moves To Supreme Court Demanding His Arrest- Reports
Gujarat Titans’ pacer Mohammed Shami is making the cricket fans proud as he is shining on the field in the Indian Premier League (IPL) matches. While fans are going crazy over his excellent game, he is making the headlines yet again for his personal life. His estranged wife Hasin Jahan has yet again made some serious allegations against the cricketer. As per the reports doing rounds, she has filed a Special Leave Petition with the Supreme Court (SC) against him.

In her petition she had alleged that a criminal case against Shami has been stayed for over four years now without any consequences. She went on to accuse her husband of having extramarital affairs with prostitutes while he was on tour with the senior national team. She further claimed that he has been demanding dowry from her, while still having extramarital affairs. In her petition, it is mentioned that he has been using a second phone number to manage all these affairs.

Quoted by IndiaTV, the petition reads, “Mr. Shami used to use his second mobile phone, an HTC device with the number +447864905556, for managing all his affairs related to prostitutes, and the said phone was seized by the Lal Bazaar Police, Kolkata, in connection with the present crime. However, as per the allegations in the petition, Mr. Shami still continues to be involved in sexual activities with prostitutes.”

For the unversed, Hasin had accused Mohammed of adultery and domestic abuse in 2018. She had filed a police complaint in Jadavpur for the same. While the cricketer and his brother were called in for questioning by Kolkata Police's women's grievance cell and even an arrest warrant was issued against him, the order was stayed because the BCCI had withheld his “central contract following match-fixing allegations.” The cricketer, however, was given a clean chit by the Anti Corruption Unit of BCCI.

Mohammed Shami, who is currently busy with the IPL season, is yet to respond to the new allegations.
