India is a land of culture and over the years many have been attracted by the idea of the deep-rooted traditions. While several celebrities fancy visiting the country artists are often on the lookout for an opportunity to perform. Now, Nigerian musician Rema is all set for his India tour where he will be performing in three Indian cities. 

The artist was spotted landing in Mumbai for his 'Rema Calm Down' India Tour. The 23-year-old was greeted in a grand Maharashtrian style and several pictures and videos of him dressed in an uber-cool green hooded jacket and pants.

In addition, a number of fans gathered to greet him upon his arrival in India and after he arrived at the Mumbai airport and went straight to his hotel where he was greeted with dhol, bhangra, dandiya, and a tikka. 


Rema too joined up with the dancers and mimicked their actions, performing dandiya with them.

While the paps photographed him, the musician also took out his phone and recorded a video of them. "Finally! The love is HUGE wow," expressed the singer sharing a couple of videos on his Instagram Story. He also shared pictures which depict all the love and respect that he received in India.

The singer also shared a picture of himself wearing a turban, and wrote in another post, "Ok I need an Indian Name asap!"

Speaking of Rema, his real name is Divine Ikubor and he became a global sensation after his hit single 'Calm Down'. 

As per the reports, the 'Rema Calm Down' India Tour will happen in three Indian cities. It will begin on May 12, at JLN Stadium in New Delhi and the next show will be on May 13 at NSCI Dome in Mumbai and the tour is scheduled to conclude on May 14 at Prism in Hyderabad.
