While many are being criticised for not being able to carry their outfits, others are being lauded for picking out the perfect outfit. Amid all the glamour and glitz, Diet Sabya took to their official social media handle to unveil the secrets and reality of the business of celebrity styling, which tends to always go unnoticed.

Shedding light on the business of celebrities borrowing haute couture from well-known fashion designers, wearing their ‘custom-made’ fashion statements and expertly edited photos posted in ‘real-time’ on their social media handles. Without mentioning the Ambani wedding, which became a trending topic of discussion on the internet among users over the weekend, Diet Sabya shared insights on how celebrities rent outfits from stylists for mega-events. He revealed that instead of buying outfits for every occasion, celebrities ‘borrow’ the fashion statements for a particular event. Once the function is over they return it to the respective designers. Despite these outfits being labeled as ‘custom’ or ‘archival,’ the designers simply tweak an existing outfit, a version they have already designed and showcased earlier, with a new blouse or small additions. Quoted by the Free Press Journal, the post further read, “Stylists flex their muscles and borrow clothes. This is known as sourcing. It works primarily because these stylists have pre-existing relationships with a designer/brand combined with the star power of the celebrity. A good stylist is a game changer for several reasons we can't get into this module.”


Diet Sabya further mentions that the managers of the celebrities book photographers as a part of their crew for every event. The post adds, “Sometimes a photographer will shoot as many as three-or-four celebs per event. They usually set up a background. All photos are then selected (by celebs mostly after pre-selection by photogs/stylists), edited and processed as quickly as real-time. ”
