Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant finally tied the knot on July 12th after a long engagement period. Their extravagant wedding and pre-wedding ceremonies became a trending topic of discussion on social media. It was later reported by a media outlet that the couple would continue to celebrate their wedding in London, which garnered a lot of mixed reactions from the netizens. Pakistani actor Arsalan Naseer also took a jibe at them.

Taking to his official social media handle, he shared the news on his Instagram stories and pointed out how their wedding has lasted longer than most relationships these days. Quoted by the Free Press Journal, he wrote, “Itney der toh aaj kal relations nahi chalte... jitney inke functions chaley hai (Relationships these days don't last as long as their wedding functions have lasted).” Well it is safe to say that this has not gone down well with the netizens as they have questioned if he is feeling jealous. Taking to the comment section of a Pakistani portal’s post, reporting about his reaction to the Ambani wedding, one wrote, “Ap ko kya takleaf h apki jaeb s jare h paise.” Another wrote, “Why are you jealous bro let them happy.” Other one wrote, “Bcoz they are loyal to each other.” One commented, “Wo school going friend thy... Dono loyal rhy.. or ab shadi ho gae.. ptaa nhii humri Awam KO kiyaa maslaa.. they are happy.. bus ye zaroori hai.” Another one commented, “What sort of stupid statement is this?! Talking about Anant and Radhika’s nuptials, after a seven-month-long engagement period and three pre-wedding ceremonies, they tied the knot on July 12, 2024, surrounded by friends and family. 

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s first pre-wedding celebration happened in March 2024, where the Ambanis introduced their wildlife center Vantara, in Jamnagar, Gujarat, to their guests. This was followed by a cruise outing in May 2024 with the theme ‘La Vita E Un Viaggio’. They kicked off their third pre-wedding ceremony earlier last week with the Mameru ceremony. Anant and Radhika’s wedding celebrations have become a huge trending topic of discussion on social media and have attracted a lot of scrutiny from the netizens.
