HIT OR FLOP: Indian Idol 12 Is Back On TRP Charts, Anupamaa Remains On Number 1 Position
While Anupamaa tops the TRP list, Indian Idol 12 is back in the game, amid the controversies that the reality show has been garnering
Here comes the TRP list, giving us a close view of which show performed well and which one failed to impress the audience. As per the BARC TRP report, the singing TV reality show, Indian Idol 12 back in the top 5 spot. Of late, the show has been embroiled in a lot of controversies. It all began with Kishore Kumar special episode being majorly slammed by the audience, after which Amit Kumar said that he was asked to praise the singers regardless of how they sang.
Meanwhile continuing to rule the list is Rupali Ganguly, Sudhanshu Panday and Madalsa Sharma’s Anupamaa. The recent track saw Anupamaa and Vanraj getting divorced, while the latter being skeptical about tying the knot with Kavya. This led to a lot of friction between Kavya and Vanraj’s family. Going strong even this week, the show registered 8464 impressions. Anupamaa has been ruling the audience’s hearts ever since its inception, kudos to the team.
Next up is Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein bagging the second spot on the list with 8098 impressions. In May the show had bagged the number 1 spot, dethroning Anupamaa for a week.
On the third spot is Imlie garnering 7448 impressions, starring Subum Touqeer Khan, Gashmeer Mahajani and Mayuri Deshmukh has remained in the top 5 spot for quite some time now.
On the fourth spot is the TV reality show, Indian Idol 12 with 7107 impressions. The show remained in news for the controversy. The audience is also slamming the show for not evicting Shanmukhapriya, and she was majorly criticized on social media.
And finally back in the race is the popular sitcom, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah with 6964 impressions for keeping the audience entertained during the COVID-19 lockdown.
