Yogesh Tripathi: The Team of Happu Ki Ultan Paltan Is Great, No Pressure On Me To Keep The Show Running
Happu Ki Ultan Paltan actor Yogesh Tripathi states that he feels no pressure to keep the show running and only has his team to thank for this
Being part of a hit show can be quite challenging as ratings need to be maintained and so does the interest of the fans. However, actor Yogesh Tripathi does not feel any pressure even though he is the face of Happu Ki Ultan Paltan. The actor says that he only has his team to thank for this. “There is no pressure as such. My team is so good that they don't let any pressure come on me. I have been working with them since FIR, and I feel the same even now, as I felt then. Also, I am doing Bhabhiji with them for 4 years now and I am still part of it. Though my presence in the show is less because I am pre-occupied with HKUP. The team is very co-operative. It doesn't feel like a different unit altogether. And I have worked with Himani ji in plays before I was doing FIR,” he says.
He adds, “Even in FIR, I did a lot of characters. Because the show had different stories of 3-4 days, due to which I got a chance to portray different characters of different shades. So, there was never any challenge as such. The team is very co-operative and flexible to work with because of whom I never faced any challenge as such.”
Talking about the producer duo Binaifar and Sanjay Kohli, he says, “I started my career by working with them. In the beginning, I did a story with them in FIR and then they called me back for another story. And after doing a couple of episodes, I met Sanjay Ji and Mrs Kohli who signed a contract with me, because I was working with them on a regular basis. And since then, it has been many years and I never felt any kind of suppression or difficulty while working with them. They are very nice human beings and whenever Sanjay Ji comes on the set, he cracks some jokes to lighten the mood. They never made their artist feel pressured. And Mrs Kohli encourages us and even appreciates us.”
His chemistry with Kamna Pathak is superb. Talking about his experience of working with her, he says, “Theatre is the major commonality between us. Also, we belong to the regions of MP/UP, so we have the same family background and culture and language. We bonded well together since day 1 and It never felt like I am working with Kamna for the first time. And this is why our on-screen chemistry is appreciated by the fans and viewers.”
