Yogesh Tripathi AKA Daroga Happu Singh Celebrated Navratri With Fans, As He Visited Gwalior; Says, ‘Was Touched By The Love They Showered On Me’
Navratri is one of the most revered festivals in India, celebrated across numerous states with great fervour. In Madhya Pradesh, this festival is celebrated on a grand scale, with devotees observing a nine-day fast, paying homage to the nine different incarnations of Goddess Durga, and gathering at local dandiya grounds to play Garba and revel with their loved ones. This year, Yogesh Tripathi, known for his role as Daroga Happu Singh in &TV's Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, joined the festive celebrations in Madhya Pradesh. He visited Gwalior and fully immersed himself in the local festive spirit, even getting everyone to dance with him during Garba. Here's what the actor had to say about his experience during Navratri celebrations.

Yogesh Tripathi, famously known as Daroga Happu Singh, expressed his excitement and shared, “Gwalior has truly captured my heart with its festive magic. Last year, during Navratri, I was swept away by the vibrant energy that enveloped the city. Returning this year to join the Navratri celebration was an amazing experience. I was touched by the warmth and love they showered upon me. Seeing people flocking and dancing, doing Garba in traditional attire, brought immense joy and their infectious energy was passed on to me. I was so excited to see all of them and thoroughly immersed myself in the festive spirit."

"People's love for my character of Daroga Happu Singh in Happu Ki Ultan Paltan was evident as many playfully spoke to me in the Bundelkhandi. Some asked, 'Kitni Nyochavar lenge aap? (laughs),' I playfully replied, 'Is baar bas pyaar ki nyochavar lenge hum.' Gwalior's rich historical ambience, coupled with the welcoming nature of its people, made my visit unforgettable. Exploring the majestic Gwalior Fort and navigating the bustling Patankar Bazaar for local handicrafts and textiles was a delight. As a food enthusiast, I savoured the sweet imartis, crispy kachoris, and Poha Jalebi. This trip will forever hold a special place in my heart, and I eagerly anticipate the day I can visit Gwalior again in all its festive splendour."
