Produced by Rajan Shahi, Star Plus’ show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been running successfully for almost 15 years now. Starring Pranali Rathore, Harshad Chopra, Shreyansh Kaurav and many more in pivotal roles, the show is one of the most-watched shows that often tops the weekly TRP charts. In the past few episodes it was seen that Akshara and Abhimanyu’s wedding preparations begin despite Muskaan resentment. In yesterday’s episode it was seen that Akshara and Abhimanyu complete their haldi ceremony.

Today’s episode starts with the elders talking about the importance of gifts. As Abhimanyu and Akshara decline accepting any gifts, Dadi gives her Naira’s wedding dupatta which leaves her and Kairav emotional. Akshara leaves from the place and confides in Naira on how she wished her mother was there to help her raise Abhir. Abhimanyu joins her and consoles her. He tells her how she still has her mother as well as father with her in the form of their blessings. Abhimanyu goes on to share his own insecurities, how he might become like his parents. They both come to the conclusion that despite their imperfect childhood, they want to give their son Abhir a better future. As the family gets busy in sangeet preparations, Aarohi encounters Sujeet Mama and gets uncomfortable because of his touchy behaviour. As she contemplates telling people about him, she decides to stand up against him and set a good example towards her daughter Ruhi. Akshara questions Aarohi on what is going on, who avoids answering the question. Akshara decides to find out the truth. As the episode comes to an end, Abhi suggests Akshara and Abhimanyu’s mehendi ceremony to be done with peacock feathers. In the upcoming episode it will be seen that during the mehendi ceremony, Akshara and Aarohi will band together to expose Sujeet Mama’s ill intentions which will leave everyone shocked. In the later episodes it will be revealed that Akshara is pregnant with Abhinav’s kid. It will be interesting to see how Abhimnayu and Manjiri react to the news.
