Produced by Rajan Shahi, Star Plus’ show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been running successfully for almost 15 years now. Starring Pranali Rathore, Harshad Chopra, Shreyansh Kaurav, Jai Soni and many more in pivotal roles, the current track of the show has left the fans divided. It was seen in the previous episodes that after plans of separating Akshara and Abhinav are revealed to the Goenka’s, during Kairav and Muskaan’s wedding, Manjiri decides on fighting for Abhir’s custody.

Despite being reluctant on his mother’s decision, Abhimanyu goes ahead with the plans. He meets with Akshara and Abhinav in court so that they can decide on Abhir’s custody. In the upcoming episode it will be seen that Abhir will reach the court with the sacred red thread that was tied around Akshara’s wrist. As he enters the place that conducts custody cases, an unattended ladder falls on him. However, Abhimanyu saves him in the nick of time. The concerned parents hug Abhir and ask for his well being. Now, further in the episode it will be seen that considering all the points, Abhimanyu is given Abhir’s custody, which leaves everyone present in the court shell-shocked. The judge announces that Akshara and Abhimanyu will be given visitation rights as per Abhimanyu’s permission. Abhimanyu, who never wanted to separate Akshara and Abhir, gets teary-eyed. As he tries to console a devastated Akshara, Manjiri stops him and explains to him how heart-breaking it must be for her to lose her only son and drags him out of the courtroom. On the other hand, Manish and Swarna console Akshara and Abhinav. Being in shock, Akshara refuses to respond to anyone who encourages her to react. With Abhir’s custody in Abhimanyu and Manjiri’s hand, it will be interesting to see how the future episodes of the show pan out.
