Will Khatron Ke Khiladi Finalist Shantanu Maheshwari Break Colors’ Contract To Join Sony’s Pehredaar Piya Ki Sequel?
Shantanu Maheshwari, who is one of the frontrunners to win Khatron Ke Khiladi, may soon be seen in the sequel to the controversial show Pehredaar Piya Ki
For the
first time in the history of Indian television, a show invited the ire of the
Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. And after weeks of dealing with
controversy and petitions,Sony Entertainment Television’s Pehredaar Piya Ki was
pulled off air.
Producers Shashi
Mittal and Sumeet Mittal then promised to bring a new show, with the same cast
and crew, to the same channel.

And it looks like
they have zeroed in on their new leading man. It is none other than Khatron
Ke Khiladi 8's rumoured winner Shantanu Maheshwari.
The makers were looking for a young boy and Shantanu has become the first
choice of them.

If all goes well,
you will see Shantanu romancing Tejaswi Prakash in part 2 of Pehredaar Piya Ki.
Well, Shantanu
hasn’t said yes yet as he has a contract with Colors and he will have to break
it, if he wants to start a new journey with Sony. Shantanu, who has been a part
of Colors’ Jhalak Dikhhla Ja and Khatron Ke Khiladi is yet to make a final
decision.
Tejaswi Prakash In Pehredaar Piya Ki
Shantanu became
popular with his show Dil Dosti Dance and later participated in many reality
shows. But if the deal with Sony works out, this will be his first time on
daily soap.
Meanwhile,
Tejaswi just came back from Taiwan where the actress was on a fitness trip and
shared her adventures on social media.
