Rakhi Sawant’s husband Adil Khan Durani recently confirmed their wedding on social media, days after denying it. He shared their wedding photo and said he just had to handle a few things so was quiet about their marriage in public. But do you know who convinced Adil to accept his marriage with Rakhi? Well, it’s none other than Salman Khan. Yes, you read that right! During her recent media interaction, Rakhi confessed that the actor called Adil and saved her marriage.

Speaking with the paparazzi, the controversial queen said in Hindi, “Bhai (Salman) inko bohut pyaar karte hai. Bhai se mile bhi hai. Definitely bhai ka phone toh aaya hi hai inko. Aap jaante hi hai karwaya hi hai. She added, “Bhai ke hote huye yeh mana kar sakte hai kya behan ko shaadi ka? When Adil was quizzed about Salman, the businessman was all praise of the Sultan actor. He stated, “He is very nice, he is humble. He told me a few things. I told okay. Aesa kuch nahi hai (There's nothing like that). Adding to this, Rakhi said, “Mera bhai Salman ne mera ghar basa diya.” To note, Rakhi shares a great bond of friendship with Salman and calls him her brother. On many occasions, she has expressed her gratitude to him for always being there for her during her testing times.

In 2021, Rakhi’s mother Jaya underwent surgery to remove a cancerous tumour and the actress revealed Salman helped her with India's best cancer specialist who cured her mother. She had called the actor ‘Messiah.’
