WHAT! Raghu Ram’s Marriage Was Affected Due To Roadies; Actor Makes SHOCKING Revelations On How The Reality Show Did Impact His Personal Life
Raghu Ram, a familiar face on Indian television, made his mark as the host and judge of the adventure reality show MTV Roadies alongside his twin brother Rajiv Lakshman and actor VJ Rannvijay Singh in the 2000s. Recently, Raghu discussed the impact of Roadies on his personal life and whether he would ever consider returning to the show.

In an interview with India Today.in, Raghu explained his reasons for leaving Roadies at its peak. He cited his dissatisfaction with the show's direction as one reason for his departure. Initially, he had significant creative control over the show for its first ten seasons. However, during the ninth and tenth seasons, conflicts arose between Raghu and MTV as the network sought to take the show in a more mainstream direction.

Raghu's personal life also faced turmoil due to his involvement in Roadies and the intense popularity it generated. His marriage suffered, ultimately leading to divorce, and his mental and physical health deteriorated. Needing to prioritize his well-being, Raghu chose to step away from the show, a decision he has never regretted.

Regarding a potential return to Roadies, Raghu was clear that he had no intention of coming back, despite MTV's request for him and his brother to do so. He noted that the show had changed drastically since their departure and bore little resemblance to the original format they had developed. In Raghu's view, the Roadies he knew ended when he and his brother left.

After leaving Roadies in 2013, Raghu and Rajiv Lakshman established their own content studio, Monozygotic Solutions Pvt. Ltd. Through their studio, they produced Skulls and Roses for Amazon Prime Video in 2019 and IRL: In Real Love for Netflix in 2023, continuing their careers in content creation beyond Roadies.
