VIRAL Post Suggests Shark Tank Judges Are Not Credible To Give Business Advice; Details How Their Companies Are Actually Drowning In Losses-READ BELOW!
The cat finally appears to be out of the bag as a social media user, Ankit Uttam, penned a long post on LinkedIn detailing why Shark Tank India ‘never worked for him’. Uttam, who is an author and marketer, compared the Indian version to its US counterpart and detailed how the companies - run by the judges on Shark Tank India - are actually running into losses. Despite suffering the downfall, Ankit Uttam explained how the companies run by the judges on Shark Tank India are actually running into losses. In the post, he went on to suggest that the sharks are not credible enough to give business advice to the contestants who visit the show to make the pitch!

In his now-viral post, Ankit explained the real reason he decided to check the financial statuses of the Indian sharks: "Shark Tank India has never worked for me as a show from its first season, unlike its US counterpart. In the US version of the show, every judge (Barbara Corcoran, Mark Cuban, Lori Greiner, Robert Herjavec, Daymond John, and Kevin O'Leary) is running businesses that actually turn a profit instead of riding on VC money or drowning in huge losses."

Ankit’s post also elaborated on the first season and discussed the problems with Ashneer Grover’s companies and why they are failing. The social media user pointed out that Grover was sacked in 2022 from the company so these losses will be also under his leadership since he was also at the helm in FY22. Simultaneously, he also spoke about Anupam Mittal, Namita Thapar, Peyush Bansal, and lastly, Aman Gupta.

He pointed out that Gupta’s BoAt was the sole profitable company. Making a rather witty remark, Ankit said that for him "The Shark Tank India version seems like Ekta Kapoor's rendition of the more interesting US version of the show."

To make his claims reliable, the LinkedIn user also listed out the sources of the data he used in his research and analysis in a separate second post as users had commented about his claims in the first post.
