Mere Dad Ki Dulhan star Varun Badola's father who was a veteran actor passed away at the age of 84. His son and actor penned a heartfelt eulogy on his Instagram which will leave you teary-eyed

Varun Badola's Father And Veteran Actor VM Badola Dies At 84; Mere Dad Ki Dulhan Actor Pens 'The Man, The Legend, The Phenomenon Has Called It A Day'
Veteran actor Vishwa Mohan Badola who appeared in many plays and theatres acts passed away at the age of 84 due to age-related problems. His son and Mere Dad Ki Dulhan actor Varun Badola took to his Instagram account and penned a heartfelt eulogy which is simply a 'must-read' piece. While sharing an old picture of his father, he mentioned how his father made learning a way of life for him. He also mentioned that if he is a good actor and a good writer then his late father is one who should be credited for whereas as a singer, Varun said that he has just about 1/10th of his singing talent.
 
Recalling his initial days and how his father made him what he is today, an excerpt from his note read, "I left Delhi and came to Mumbai because his name was too big in that city to counter. I protested that people judge me, they unduly favour me because I am your son. He promptly told me to go and find my own identity some place else if I thought his name was a hinderance. He told me to always operate out of my comfort zone. He made me a MAN." The late actor VM Badola was a journalist by profession and did more than 400 hundred plays for AIR. 

Varun mentioned how his father was an actor par excellence and when he sang, time stopped while calling him a ‘LEGEND’. "A father who was always watching and always listening. So ladies and gentlemen The Man, The Legend, The Phenomenon has called it a day. But his legacy will stay on forever in various forms. Mr. Vishwa Mohan Badola 1936 - 2020" his note concluded.
