Television actor Vaibhavi Upadhyaya’s sudden passing has left the industry in shock. While she has been a part of many shows over the years, she is fondly remembered by her fans as Jasmine Mavani, Rosesh's (played by actor Rajesh Kumar) love interest in the second season of Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai. Her co-stars from the show have taken to their official social media handles to express their shock and to condole her death.

During an interaction with Times Now, Rajesh expressed how he is still in shock ever since he came to know about the news. He has been going through her pictures, as it is more “about losing such a wonderful person, friend.” He recalled that even though they weren’t regularly in touch, they would talk to each other from time to time. He added that she was one of the most energetic people he knew and that is how he wants to remember her.

Vaibhavi’s other co-stars Rupali Ganguly, Sumeet Raghvan, Satish Shah, Deven Bhojani, JD Majethia took to their official Twitter handles to share their condolences for the late actress. For the unversed, the late actress and her fiance Jay Suresh Gandi were reportedly travelling in Himachal Pradesh, when their car lost control at a steep turn. According to Majethia’s tweet, “She met with an accident near Chandigarh and the family will be bringing her to Mumbai where her final rites will be conducted. She was with her fiancé in the car when it slipped into a valley during a turn on the road. Her brother rushed to Chandigarh on hearing the news.”

Apart from being a part of Sarabhai Vs. Sarabhai, Vaibhavi also had been a part of shows like Kya Qasoor Hai Amla Ka, CID, Adaalat, Please Find Attached and Deepika Padukone’s movie Chhapaak.
