Vaibhavi Upadhyaya DEATH: Officials Claim Actress Sustained Head Injury After She Tried To ‘Get Out Of The Vehicle Through The Window’
Actress Vaibhavi Upadhyaya's untimely demise came as a shock to the industry as well as to her fans. She passed away after getting into a road accident on Monday. She was travelling in the Himachal Pradesh with her fiance Jay Suresh Gandi when the speeding SUV slipped into a gorge during a turn near Sidhwan in the Banjar area of Kullu. She suffered head injuries during the accident and went into cardiac arrest. If recent reports are to be believed, she had tried to get out of the car after the accident.

According to the recent update on her death, ETimes has quoted SP Kullu Sakshi Verma explaining that Vaibhavi sustained head injuries after she tried to climb through the window. He told the news agency PTI, “Vaibhavi tried to get out of the vehicle through the window and sustained a head injury which proved fatal. While Vaibhavi’s fiance escaped with minor injuries, she passed away in a flash as she wasn’t wearing a seatbelt. Her mortal remains were brought back to Mumbai by her brother on May 24, after which she was cremated in Borivali, Mumbai. Apart from her family, many of her industry friends including actor Gautam Rode and producer JD Majethia attended her funeral.
