TV Producer Rajan Shahi EXPOSES Actors’ ‘Impractical Conditions’; ‘Won’t Name But When Contacted They Demanded Double Per Day'
As per new guidelines set by GoI, Bollywood and TV industry will soon resume shooting following all the safety measures to curb the spread of Coronavirus on the sets. As the production houses gear up for Unlock Phase 1, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai producer Rajan Shahi exposed some shocking details of TV actors and the tantrums they are throwing to resume the shoot post the lockdown. During his latest interview with Pinkvilla, Shahi revealed that actors are asking double per day and are also putting forward some conditions which are clearly impractical for the production house.

Rajan told the entertainment portal, “I won't name the actor but when my team called that actor and told him that 'you have to resume shoot' he demanded 'double per day' and put more conditions which were impractical. This was totally going against the contract already signed. Actor demanded double per day, and his talk with my production was that 'don't even call us if you want to negotiate'. At the same time, I have so many brilliant actors, my team, production team, workers, technicians, my unit members who have come together to proactively help and support me to take the things forward.”

“These experience has taught me to value these actors, team members, my workers, who have come out and supported me till date and will support forward, a little more,” he added.

Speaking about working with guidelines, Shahi said that following them is his or any certain department’s moral responsibilities. “Our safety depends on not only what we do but also what we do with others. I think the most important thing is to educate everyone on that and the onus lies with everyone.” (ALSO READ: Sargun Mehta On Ravi Dubey And Nia Sharma's Kissing Scenes In Jamai Raja 2.0: 'Told Him To Be A Good Kisser')
