Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah: Ghanshyam Nayak AKA Nattu Kaka Undergoes Neck Surgery; Reveals 'Eight Knots Were Removed'
After months, cameras once again started rolling for Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. However, this time, with several changes. Two stars of the show, Neha Mehta who essayed the role of Anjali Mehta and Gurucharan Singh who essayed the role of Sodhi, marked their exit and were replaced by new faces. Another face that went missing post the lockdown was that of Nattu Kaka played by Ghanshyam Nayak. It has been recently revealed that the senior actor had to undergo a surgery to remove knots from his neck.

After complaining of uneasiness in his glands, Ghanshyam Nayak got admitted to a hospital in Malad. Speaking to Times Of India, he revealed that almost 8 knots were removed from his neck and have been sent for further testing. He was quoted saying, "I am much better now. I have got admitted to Suchak Hospital in Malad. Today is the first day that I have eaten food after the surgery that was performed on me on Monday. The first three days were tough, but I am now only looking ahead in life."

He further went on to add, "Eight knots were removed. And, I really don't know how so many had formed. Those knots have been sent for further testing but I have faith in God, jo bhi karega achcha hi karega." Ghanshyam Nayak also revealed that his Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah co-stars have been checking on him, however, he'll be able to resume shooting only after one month of rest.
