The show which premiered on TV in February this year is going off-air in less than five months. Star Bharat has planned to replace it with a mythological show, 'Mata Vaishno Devi'

It’s not easy for a show to impress an audience. From the casting, to the storyline – one needs to get various facets right to make a tug at the audience’s heart. Many popular shows have bid an adieu in a matter of months due to low TRPs and the latest one to join the list is Star Bharat's Pyaar Ke Papad starring Swarda Thigale and Aashay Mishra in the leads.

Pyaar Ke Papad which is  a romantic social drama is slated to wrap-up next month (August 16). Although the show had an interesting storyline and good performances, it failed to gain TRPs and hence the makers have decided to pull the plug on it. The show which aired in February this year is going off air in less than five months. The channel has planned to replace it with a mythological show, 'Mata Vaishno Devi'.



As per report in Bombay Times, the lead actor of Pyaar Ke Papad, Aashay Mishra, unfortunately lost his grandfather yesterday. The show’s shooting was cancelled as Aashay had to leave for Raipur.

You may recall, during the launch of the show, Swarda Thigale had revealed to us that her mother wants her to pair up with KumKum Bhagya main lead, Shabir Ahluwalia.
