Swaragini Actress Nupur Alankar Faces Major Financial Crisis; Sells Off Her Jewellery To Sustain
Television actress Nupur Alankar’s life ‘broke’ apart when the Punjab & Maharashtra Co-Operative (PMC) Bank collapsed recently
Nupur Alankar is a Television actress who has played as a sidekick roles in many daily soaps including Phulwa, Agle Janam Mohe Bitya Hi Kijo, Swaragini, to name a few. However, little did she know that her life will change into a disaster that compelled her to sell off her jewellery, courtesy: Punjab & Maharashtra Co-Operative (PMC) The bank recently got collapsed, due to which her life send to a turmoil.
While talking to TOI, she said that she is facing a major financial crisis after working so hard. She also explained how the Reserve Bank of India curbed the withdrawal limit from 1,000 to 25,000 per person. She was also quoted saying that a circular was recently released that they can withdraw 50,000 to one lakh in case of children’s education or medical emergency, however, they couldn’t afford it when a family member was critical. Besides, none of our credit or debit cards are working.
The actress even shared that with no money at home and all our accounts frozen, she was left with no option, but to sell off her jewellery. She even borrowed Rs. 3,000 from a fellow actor and like this she ended up borrowing Rs. 50,000 from friends. Till now there has been no clarity when the problem will be resolved and this is scaring the actress if she will her money.
According to Nupur, the worst part is that she is not even eligible for a loan anymore. In fact, she further added by saying that telecallers used to hang up the moment she mentioned her accounts were in PMC Bank.
