Sushant Singh Rajput’s friend and Pavitra Rishta co-star Mahesh Shetty explains the dilemma of parents in the country due to school fees amid an ongoing pandemic. Read his statement below
If the medical infrastructure is falling apart in the middle of the worst crisis, even education is suffering because all schools and colleges are shut for in-person classes. Just recently, late Sushant Singh Rajput’s friend and Pavitra Rishta co-star Mahesh Shetty took to his Instagram stories to explain the dilemma of parents in the country due to school fees. His statement came right after Supreme Court announced that the educational institutions must reduce the fees as the classes are being conducted online and other facilities provided on the campus have been closed.
Talking about the same, Shetty praised SC as they took a stand. Calling the current situation ‘Sad’, his note read, “Education should have been on India’s top list but sadly no efforts, at least the Supreme Court is taking a stand… otherwise state government turned a deaf ear to the pleas of the parents clearly because most schools are owned by the politicians themselves. At such crazy times also there is zero empathy in fact they have taken fees with increments completely unmindful of the parents and the situation and the state government has been a mute spectator… Sad!!”
Apart from this, he is also using his social media might spread awareness about the virus as well as to spread necessary information regarding the same. Earlier, in another post that was shared on his Insta Stories, he urged people to think twice before donating PM and CM funds as he wants people to first extend helping hands to the ones in needs and those who are closely related to them.
