The re-run of Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan, which started during the lockdown, has turned out to be as historic as the show. Well, it didn’t only break all the TRPs, but also brought all its cast back to grabbing the headlines; be it Arun Govil AKA Ram, Sita Dipika Chikhlia or Lakshman Sunil Lahri. Interestingly, the cast of Ramayan has also joined Instagram and often treats fans to some of the other golden throwback moments related to the show. Recently, Sunil Lahri AKA Lakshman took fans a trip down memory lane by sharing a glimpse of his first-ever concert as the epic character.
The picture sees Sunil as Lakshman and Arun as Ram posing outside the theatre. In his caption, the veteran actor wrote how 15,000 people turned up in place of 12,000 and the show received a fabulous response. His caption read, “Ek yadgar moment, Ramayan's 1st stage performance in Kolkata Netaji Indoor Stadium 12000 ki capacity mein 15000 log Baithe' hajaron log Bahar Khade what a fabulous response.” Well, this is indeed a precious blast from the past! Under Sunil’s post, fans were quick to pour in love and support for him and the show.
