For the past four years, Sudhanshu Pandey has impressed the audiences with his antagonistic role as Vanraj Shah in Rajan Shahi’s television serial Anupama. Over the years, he had made a name for himself in the industry with his versatile performances. He left the audience in awe of his mettle as a grey-shade character in the Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna starrer, in the past four years. His decision to quit came as a shock to the fans, leaving them heartbroken.

As he broke the news through a video posted on his Instagram handle, several reports about why he left the show started surfacing on the internet. In the video, he informed his fans that he hasn’t been shooting for the show since the Raksha Bandhan episode. Apologising for taking such an abrupt decision, he thanked his followers for loving him as Vanraj all these years. He promised his fans that they would see him on-screen again as he has quit the serial to explore more things. Speaking of reports that are surfacing on the internet, it was heavily reported that Sudhanshu took the decision to quit because of his disagreements with Rupali Ganguly. Some reported that he was asked to leave by the makers because of his attitude and politics. A recent report by Times Now News stated that he left the set abruptly after shooting the Raksha Bandhan sequence. No one was informed of his decision to quit the show. Giving wind to the heartbreaking news, it was also reported that Pandey has unfollowed Rajan Shahi on Instagram. Well, it seems like the makers of the show have already started to look for a new actor to play the role of Vanraj Shah. According to a recent report by Bollywood Life, Pankit Thakker recently did a look test for the part. Yes, you read that right! Having acted in shows like Dill Mill Gayyee, Kabhii Sautan Kabhii Sahelii, and Bahu Hamari Rajnikant, among others, he gave a look test for the role on August 29th. If reports are to be believed makers feel like he will be the perfect actor to play the role of Vanraj Shah.


Talking about the upcoming episodes of Anupama, it was seen that Megha accidentally stabs Anu while trying to take Aadhya’s life. It will be seen that Anuj instructs Paritosh to drive faster as he cradles Anu’s body in the back seat of the car. An emotional Aadhya tells Anu to wake up and confesses that she loves her. Anupama is treated at the hospital and struggles for her life. It is seen that everyone prays for her health. It will be interesting to see how the plot will move forward. Will Anuj and Aadhya’s love for Anu be enough for her to wake up?
