India is witnessing huge spike in COVID-19 cases with each passing day. Ever since India has resumed life following new normal norms, we are often come across names of celebs that tested positive for novel Coronavirus. Celebs like Arjun Bijlani’s wife Neha Swami, Harshvardhan Rane, Tamannaah Bhatia, Shireen Mirza, Shweta Tiwari among others were the recent celebs who had tested positive for COVID-19. Former actress and Union Cabinet Minister for Textiles and Women & Child Development Smriti Irani recently announced that she tested positive for Coronavirus.
Sharing the news on social media, Irani had tweeted, “It is rare for me to search for words while making an announcement; hence here’s me keeping it simple — I’ve tested positive for #COVID and would request those who came in contact with me to get themselves tested at the earliest.” Ever since she made the announcement, good wishes and get well soon messages have been pouring in for the former actress.
Smriti also shared a post on Insta that read, “I am so offended when my body decides to be sick. Like I gave you a vegetable last week. How dare you?” She wrote alongside the note, “Just when I started having my veggies ... have #covid will fight back #dogazdoori #maskhaizaroori” Commenting on the picture, Pregnant Anita Hassanandani wrote, “Get well soon”, while hubby Rohit Reddy wrote, “Get well soon maam.” Mandira Bedi wrote, “Please take care of your self.
