Simran Sachdeva Replaced In Choti Sarrdaarni; Actress Says Producers Pressurised Her and Misbehaved To Take Pay Cut
Due to the lockdown, the film and television industry has suffered a major loss. We all know that Naagin 4 is coming to an end because of the budget constraints. Now, in TV show Choti Sarrdaarni, actress Simran Sachdeva is being replaced by Drishtti Grewal. Simran essayed the role of Harleen di in the show and now it will be played by Drishtii. Wondering why she has been replaced? The actress in her recent interview revealed that the producers were forcing her to take a pay cut.

In an interview with Telly Chakkar, she revealed that producers didn't just put pressure on her to take a pay cut, but one of them even misbehaved with her. She was quoted saying, "There are more than one reasons for the same. Lately, the producers were pressuring me a lot to take around a 40% pay cut which is not feasible for me. Also, in the past I’ve faced many issues with the production house regarding the payments as we weren’t paid on time. One of the producers misbehaved with me and were extremely disrespectful and rude. Now, because of the lock down and the gap, I had the choice to continue with them or not and hence I decided to give it a pass."

The producers of the show are yet to respond to the same. Coming to the shooting of the shows, the Maharashtra Government has now given permission to shoot in non-containment zones, but under strict guidelines. Stay tuned to SpotboyE for more updates.
