Sonia Singh opens up about lending the later actress money after Sheezan Khan’s lawyer revealed that Tunisha Sharma was facing financial issues
Television actress Sonia Singh, who has worked with Tunisha Sharma in many serials and considers her a friend, opened up about the late celebrity often facing financial issues. Her statement comes a day after Sheezan Khan’s lawyer alleged that her mother Vanita Sharma and uncle Sanjeev Kaushal were the one who handled her finances. He had revealed that Tunisha had to ask them for even the smallest amount, which left her quite frustrated.
Speaking about the same, Sonia further in the interview has also recalled how Tunisha had asked her to lend some money, but not tell her mother about it. She told Aaj Tak, that the late actress had recently asked her for Rs 3000. She recalled that a prior to her suicide, Tunisha had called and requested to not let mother know about it. Quoted by India.com, Sonia said, “Tunisha often would not have money. She went on reveal that Tunisha would call her whenever she was free, however the past month she had been troubled and spoke very less. When they met on December 14th, Tunisha has told her that Sheezan wanted some space. She said, “When we met on December 14, she claimed that Sheezan had said he needed some space and did not like me talking about love all the time. Sonia went on to express how Tunisha saw Sheezan’s family as her own. The news publications quoted her saying, “She had started considering Sheezan’s family her own. She would call them Ammi and Appi, which sounded okay to me because she was considering the family of the one she loved as her own.”
For the unversed, the 20-year-old television actress was found hanging in the bathroom of her ex-boyfriend and co-star’s make-up room on the sets of her serial ‘Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul’. Talking about ex-boyfriend Sheezan, he has been arrested under section 306 of IPC for abetment of suicide.
