SHOCKING! Pandya Store fame Simran Budharup Reveals She Received Rape And Death Threats For THIS Reason-DETAILS BELOW
Sadly, social media doesn’t seem to be fair to the television actress Simran Budharup who plays the role of Rishita in Pandya Store. The actress recently revealed that she received rape and death threats on social media and these were majorly from the young users for her role in the show.

Speaking to ETimes, Simran got candid about the same and shared her views on getting trolled for playing a negative role in Pandya Store. Simran said that she ignored all the negative comments that she received for her role.

"Initially, I would take all the negative comments lightly because my character was doing things for which she was bound to get disliked. She broke the relationship of Raavi and Dev who have already established characters from Pandya Store, but recently it went haywire when people started abusing and giving rape threats to me on social media,” Simran told ETimes.

Simran also revealed that netizens harassed her when she broke her relationship with Raavi and Dev in Pandya Store and within no time, people started abusing her and giving rape threats to her on social media. The actress even went to the police station and lodged a complaint.

She continued, “A lot of things were happening. That’s when I took a step and I went to the police station and lodged a complaint. These were a group of kids who were around the 13-14 age group. Their parents gave them phones for education purposes but these kids were misusing their parents' trust. They didn’t know where to draw the line and what was wrong, so they started doing these things."

Simran shared that the threats came from kids who were merely 13-14 years old and she feels bad for the kids.

Interestingly, Simran has a younger sister of almost the same age and she feels that parents should keep a watch on their kids as sometimes they don't understand the difference between right and wrong.

"I feel parents should keep a watch on kids during this age because, during this age, they don’t know what is actually right or wrong. I feel bad for the kids when I read these nasty comments and learn that they are coming from young kids. I am happy in my life, working, but I feel bad for them. I have a younger sister who is around that age and if she does something like this, I don’t know what I would do to her," Simran told ETimes.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Simran is known for her roles in shows like Nazar, Parrvarish, Durga Mata Ki Chhaya and others.
