Actress Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal has been on the forefront making claims and allegations against the makers of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Not only has she accused them of sexual harassment, but she has been opening up about how some of the actors were mistreated on the set. After opening about the injustice toward women on the set, she has now claimed that the makers didn’t even spare the kids.
In an interaction with Bollywood Bubble, Jennifer recalled how the entire Tapu Sena would often complete their night shoots and then go to their schools for their exams from the sets itself. For the unversed, the Tapu Sena consisted of Tapu (Bhavya Gandhi), Sonu (Jheel Mehta later replaced by Nidhi Bhanushali), Gogi (Samay Shah), Goli (Kush Shah), and Pinku (Azhar Shaikh). She sympathised with kids while talking about how they sacrificed so much while working for the show. Quoted by Koimoi, she said, “During exams, jaise humara night shift hota tha, toh bacche bichare night shift mein, night shoot bhi kar rahe hai, baith ke bichare pad rahe hai aur Subah saath baje unke exam bhi hai. For the unversed, ever since Jennifer has made her accusations, her former co-stars, actresses Priya Ahuja Rajda and Monika Bhadoriya as well as the former director Malav Rajda have spoken in support of her. The actresses have opened up about the injustice they and other female actors had to face at the hands of Modi and his team.
