Shilpa Shinde offered Kapil Sharma’s rival show Comedy Nights Bachao!
Is the Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai actress, who has been in the eye of a storm recently courtesy her fight with producer Binaefer Kohli, giving her nod of consent?
Shilpa Shinde might have landed in trouble with the Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai controversy. But that hasn’t stopped makers from approaching her for their shows.
You know that Shilpa was offered a role in Kapil Sharma’s new show, The Kapil Sharma Show, which will air on Sony from tomorrow (Shilpa Shinde's loss is Rochelle Rao's gain, Apr 13). While she has been keen to be a part of the stand-up comedy show, the actress was surprised to find an unsuspecting message beeping on her phone recently– one that wanted her to change her plans. It was Colors calling on Comedy Nights Bachao– yep, the same show that is Kapil’s arch rival.

And did they want her just as a guest? "No, they wanted her as a full-fledged performer on the show for every Saturday telecast," says a source.
Even though Shilpa did not reply in the affirmative, Colors did not give up. On Monday, they called her to check if she could make it at least as the guest.

This of course didn't go down too well with Shilpa because she was in no mood to be in the hot seat of an insult comedy show. "Who knows, maybe they wanted to take a dig at her for not just her Bhabi Ji controversy but her miss on The Kapil Sharma Show as well."
This is how TV works. One man's meat is another man's poison- and vice versa.
