Shaheer Sheikh On Non-Payment Of Dues Of Workers, ‘It’s A Difficult Time And I Am Supporting People Who Were Financially Dependent On Me’

Reports of non-payment dues of Television crew and leading actors often make it to headlines every now and then. The latest controversy of non-cleared dues sparked off when the cast and crew of Hamari Bahu Silk opened up about the issue and asked for help. While the debate about the same continues to grow stronger, other Bollywood celebs like Ravi Dubey, Kushal Tandon among others have kept their stance forward. While few seem to support the people, others say the opposite.
Likewise, Shaheer Sheikh, who’s currently in news for the rerun of his much-loved show Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi has also reacted to the non-payment dues of TV artiste and crew members. Speaking to Pinkvilla, Sheheer said, “It is a difficult time for everyone and I do understand the pressure and stress that the daily wage workers are going through. They are going through much worse times.”
“I am of course not going to put extra pressure on any people I work with. I am going to be supporting as many as I can, be it my staff, people who were financially dependent on me. I am going to continue supporting them and hopefully, everyone is able to do that," he added further.
Earlier, Kushal Tandon had jumped into the controversy of non-payment of dues and had tweeted, “People complaining not getting their money, as an actor whichever producer I am working with ......
