Sayantani Ghosh Criticizes Radhika Madan’s Point Of View About Working On Television Shows; Says, ‘TV Feeds Hundreds, Gives Them Employment’
Television actress Sayantani Ghosh enjoys a huge fan base. Over the years, with her beauty and acting prowess, she has garnered a lot of attention from the fans. The actress, recently, made it to the headlines for criticizing Radhika Madan’s view about working long hours in the television industry. For the unversed, during the promotion of Kuttey, she was asked why she decided to transition from television to Bollywood.

Sayantani had then taken to her social media handles to express her displeasure towards Radhika’s point of view. She even spoke about the same during an interaction with RJ Siddharth Kannan. She shared how she was a huge admirer of Radhika’s work, however she was disappointed in the young actor’s views.

Quoted by Indian Express, she further added, “I didn’t see her full interview, but I was a little hurt and disappointed and what I felt upon seeing that I posted underneath her video. Let me tell you, TV feeds hundreds and hundreds of women, and gives them employment, and biggest of movie stars also choose TV to come and promote their films. So I didn’t like that approach.”

Comparing Radhika to Mouni Roy who has also transitioned from television to Bollywood, Ghosh pointed out that she didn’t find the grace the Naagin actor has in Radhika. She said, “We also have Mouni Roy, she is a dear friend of mine, and in the interviews I have listened, there is a certain grace that she begun her career from TV, that I didn’t find in Radhika’s clip. She and many others look down upon TV, you shouldn’t do that, I feel. My problem is don’t treat TV as a stepping stone.”

For the unversed, during an interview with India Forums, Radhika had opened up about the long working hours on television, the constant change in directors and story lines. Expressing her displeasure, not only in the comments section of the video, but on her Instagram stories, Sayantani bashed Radhika as well as the interviewer.
