Savdhaan India Host Sushant Singh Returns To Twitter After A Short Break; Tweets In Support Of Farmers Protest
After taking a break of a few days from Twitter to reboot, Crime Patrol host Sushant Singh is back on the platform
Right after Aamir Khan decided to quit Twitter, Television actor and Savdhaan India host Sushant Singh also decided to take a break from the platform. The actor used Twitter to share his opinions and views on several topics concerning the nation. Now the actor is back on Twitter and has tweeted in support of the Farmers. He went off the platform for almost six days and is back to Twitter fearlessly expressing his thoughts.
As he made his return, Sushant Singh once again came out in the support of the ongoing Farmers' Protest and wrote, "I am back #FarmersProtest #FreeAllPoliticalPrisoners." Earlier, Sushant Singh had openly expressed his thoughts over CAA and a controversy had followed. Reportedly, he got sacked from the show for the same. In an interview with NDTV, he broke down and was quoted saying, "The school I had gone, there used to be moral science class ki 'we the citizens of India, we pledge, etc etc etc' and the one point is within the territory of India, no person, not citizen, shall be discriminated on the basis of religion, caste, creed, etc." He had then also stated that the statement given by the channel was untrue. The channel in their defence had stated that the new format of Savdhaan India did not require a presenter.
