Sasural Simar Ka 2 Actor Akash Jagga: 'People Should Not Consider Actors As Their Heroes' - EXCLUSIVE
Actor Akash Jagga, who has made his foray into the television industry with Kasauti Zindagi Kay, is currently seen playing the character of Gagan in Sasural Simar Ka 2. He has been quite vocal about his opinions and says I don't understand the concept of terming actors as heroes.

Talking to SpotboyE.com exclusively Akash said, "Just doing macho characters on-screen doesn't make anyone a "Hero". I believe cinema is very influential in India so people aspire to become actors. They think that by becoming an actor they will attain the highest position." ALSO READ: Sasural Simar Ka 2: After Avinash Mukherjee, Akash Jagga Gets Roped In As Parallel Lead-EXCLUSIVE

Further he says, "There are many people who do good for humanity, the athletes who represent the country, the  daily workers who keep our city clean and many others.  I believe every actor should talk about this topic, so that it sets an example for the upcoming generations to look up to real heroes and imbibe their values.  According to me, just earning a big sum of money and getting fame is not the ultimate achievement in life. In my opinion, acting is just a profession which has perks to it. I fear that with the boom of social media, I have seen a majority of the population shift towards the idea of becoming actors." Lastly, Akash says, "I would appeal to take a break and analyse this whole thing. Becoming an actor is not a cakewalk and at the same time it's not the ultimate achievement. You have many other real heroes to look up to. So be responsive and share your contribution towards the nation."
