Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs 9 winner Jetshen Dohna Lama expresses her desire to collaborate with Sunidhi Chauhan
Popular singing reality show ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs 9’ concluded on Sunday with the nine-year-old Jetshen Dohna Lama winning the coveted trophy. Besides this, she also took home prize money of Rs 10 lakh. Jetshenm, who hails from Pakyong, Sikkim, defeated her co-contestants Harsh Sikandar and Dhyaneshwari Gadage to win the title. The other finalists of the show were Rafa Yeasmin, Atanu Mishra, and Atharva Bakshi. In a new interview, Jetshen spoke about winning the show and also expressed her desire to collaborate with singer Sunidhi Chauhan for a song.
Speaking with Indianexpress, the girl revealed that she took up music when she was just three years old and got inclined towards music after hearing songs in cartoon shows like Elsa. Jetshen, who was nicknamed ‘Mini Sunidhi Chauhan’ by judge Shankar Mahadevan on the show, said her win came as a big surprise to her as she was not expecting to win the singing reality show. “It’s as important to me as winning the trophy. I have utmost love and respect for them and I couldn’t be happier that they supported me,” said the girl.
Jetshen also added she wants to collaborate with Sunidhi Chauhan someday. Talking about her journey on the show, the winner mentioned it has been a great learning experience for her and that she is immensely grateful to all her mentors who have supported and helped her understand her potential as a singer.
Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs 9 was judged by Shankar Mahadevan, Neeti Mohan, and Anu Malik. The show was hosted by Bharti Singh.
