Rupali Ganguly-Sudhanshu Pandey's Anupamaa To Air From July 13- EXCLUSIVE
The wait is over! Star Plus' Anupamaa starring Rupali Ganguly and Sudhanshu Pandey will finally air soon. The show was supposed to premiere before the lockdown and a promo had also been released announcing it's start date, which was March 16.

However, due to the sudden change in the situation, it went on a halt. But now, SpotboyE.com has learnt that the show has a new start date.

The channel has decided to telecast the show soonest and it will air from next Monday i.e July 13 on a new slot. The makers already have a bank of 20 episodes and hence there is no issue of things rolling out smoothly for the team.

Anupamaa is an official Hindi remake of the iconic Bengali show, Sreemoyee aired on Star Jalsha. Sreemoyee, a story by Leena Gangopadhyay. The show revolves around a homemaker who dons multiple hats and leads a hectic life. Along with Rupali Ganguly and Sudhanshu Pandey, Aditi Gupta and Ashish Mehrotra are also playing the pivotal role in it.

After the news was out about the delay in its airing, we had spoken to the producer of the show, Rajan Shahi, who had told us, "Yesterday, the channel (Star Plus) and I mutually decided that we should not air Anupamaa from tomorrow. Now that we know that no shoots will take place between March 19-31, we might as well delay the launch of the show. We didn't want a hurried short term launch. When shooting resumes with everybody's consent, we will decide the new date of its launch."

Rajan had also added, "More than the show getting delayed, right now my concern is about the life and health of the entire unit. In front of that, all these things become secondary. The launch is anyway going to happen, it is just a delay and I will be happy to bring it to the viewers when things are in a better state and the atmosphere is healthy. Money is the last thing on anybody's mind at the moment. It just seems petty to think of it when the country and the world is going through such a tough phase."
