Rubina Dilaik Rubbishes Reports That Said She Threw Tantrums And Stalled The Shoot Of Her Debut Film, Ardh, With A Hilarious Remark
Rubina Dilaik is set for her Bollywood debut with director Palash Mucchal’s Ardh. The film also stars Hiten Tejwani, Kulbhushan Kharbanda and Rajpal Yadav in key roles.
Bigg Boss 14 winner Rubina Dilaik is all set to debut in a Bollywood film, titled Ardh. Directed by singer Palak Mucchal’s brother Palash Mucchal, the film also stars Hiten Tejwani, Kulbhushan Kharbanda and Rajpal Yadav in key roles. The actress recently made it to the headlines for all the wrong reasons, as she was accused of throwing tantrums and stalling the shoot of her debut film, until her demands for a desired vanity van were met.
A media report claimed that Dilaik had demanded a double-door vanity van to accommodate her staff and refused to step out of her car until she got one.
Rubina has now responded to these rumours, with a rather hilarious remark. When Etimes asked for her reply to its queries, she wrote in a message: "Ha ha aahaa. To make it more meaty, you can also add that I refused to shoot in the real location which is a slum area - and left the set!"
Aaah! There's a reason she won Bigg Boss 14. Isn't it?
According to Etimes, director Palash Muchhal also rubished the rumours. He said that it was true that Rubina waited for a long time inside her car despite having arrived on time, but the delay was not due to a demand for a double-door vanity van, but “it was because it was raining”.
Last month, Rubina announced the start of shooting of her debut Ardh in an Instagram post. "New beginnings," she wrote and shared the poster of the film.
'Ardh' is about the struggle of an actor in a city like Mumbai. "The film will showcase the experiences of my 15 years journey," Palash had earlier said.
Rubina Dalik is known for her performance in television shows like Choti Bahu, Punar Vivah and Shakti: Astitva Ke Ahsaas Ki. Hiten, who co-starred with Rubina in the serial, reunited with the actress after 11 years on the film’s shoot.
