Apart from his brilliant dancing skills, choreographer and director Remo D’Souza is known for his striking presence on social media. Right from dropping his candid selfies, dance reels to giving a glimpse of his happy life with his wife Lizelle, Remo never fails to leave her fans entertained and hooked. On Saturday, the ace choreographer shared a video of expressing his undying love for his wife while revealing how he was discriminated because of his dark skin. In his post, Remo D’Souza opened up about how he used to hate when others called him ‘kaalia‘ or ‘kalu.’

Taking to his Instagram handle, Remo posted a video featuring him and his wife Lizelle. In the video, he is seen lip-syncing Mohammed Rafi's popular song 'Hum Kale Hai To Kya Hua Dil Wale Hai' from the 1965 film 'Gumnaam'. The couple also shares some mushy moments in the clip that has gone viral. In his caption, Remo wrote, “I used to hate when ppl called me #kaalia #kalu , but then my mom told me that it’s not the colour it’s the #heartthat matters  and use to sing this #song , since then this became my fav song. Now I sing this song to @lizelleremodsouza.”


Soon after he dropped the video, his friends from the industry took to comments sections to shower love on him. Choreographer Terence Lewis wrote, “Black is beautiful brother!!.” Many of his fans showed their support and called him a ‘real gem.’ 

On the professional front, Remo D’Souza is all set to don the hat of a judge on 'DID Li'l Masters' Season 5. He will be returning to the dance reality after a gap of  11 years and the dancer will be sporting his signature 'cornrows' hairdo this season. Remo will be joined by other two judges-Sonali Bendre and Mouni Roy on the show.
