Ramayan's Rerun Has Put Lakshman Aka Sunil Lahri Back On The Map As 'Crush Of India'; Reveals Of Having More Female Fans
Mythological show Ramayan's rerun on Doordarshan amidst the Lockdown proved to be a very profitable venture. While audiences loved to relive the era of Ramanand Sagar's shows, for the channel, the show once again called for the highest number of TRPs. Even the stars of the show once again gained popularity and made it to the headlines almost every day. This time we have actor Sunil Lahri who essayed the role of Lakshman in Ramayan talking about the kind of messages he received from the audiences.

Talking about it to the same, he was quoted saying by ETimes, "I am getting different kinds of messages from my fans who are showering me with their love. They are liked my performance and I feel great about it. The younger fans have sent me messages stating that I am a youth icon and crush of India. This was very surprising for me and I had never expected that. Of course in 1987, when it was released for the first time, I had more female fans than the male ones and this time too same thing happened." Waah, waah, kya baat hai.

While Ramayan has put Sunil Lahri back on the map, it seems he has strong competition from his son Krish who has become an internet sensation. Recently a few fans had compared Krish's pictures to that of young Sunil Lahri and called him the carbon copy of his dad. Krish is an aspiring actor and wants to make it big in the movie industry.
