Poonam Pandey’s untimely demise has left everyone in shock. Having garnered a huge fanbase, over the years, the social media sensation always spoke up about the challenges she faced in her life unabashedly. She breathed her last at the age of 32 because of cervical cancer. Having passed away on Thursday night, February 1, netizens have been left in shock due to the unexpected heartbreaking news. An old interview of hers where she had opened up about her domestic violence has now surfaced on the internet.
The reality show star made the headlines for her shocking revelations when she participated in Kangana Lanaut’s jail-based show Lock Upp. She had opened up about her married life and how she faced domestic violence at the hands of her ex-husband Sam Bombay. In an interview after her eviction, she spoke in detail about her suffering and how she was planning to start therapy again. Back in 2022, the Nasha actress revealed during an interview with ETimes TV, that she had lost her sense of smell completely because of the brain hemorrhage. Pandey went on to express her happiness during the interview while stating that her mother, sister, and the rest of her family have loved and accepted her the way she is. Further in the interview she also opened up about planning to start her therapy sessions again, which she had stopped when entering the reality show. She said, “There were times in the show when I couldn’t handle things anymore and they would ask me how could they help me. The makers were very supportive. My body has gone through a lot physically and mentally. I see myself at a very peaceful stage because I feel ab isse zyaada kya hoga mere saath. I’ve crossed that stage. I feel that. I will see how things go and then opt for therapy.
