Pooja Banerjee Reveals If She Is Stressed Shooting On Kasautii Zindagii Kay Set After Parth Samthaan Tested Positive For COVID-19-EXCLUSIVE
Pooja Banerjee who essays the character of Nivedita Basu in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 has resumed shooting for the show after co-star Parth Samthaan tested positive for Coronavirus on July 12. The actress was shooting on the set when reports came and shooting was brought to a halt. Along with other crew members, Pooja also underwent a swab test and fortunately test results were negative. Now when Pooja has resumed the shoot we spoke to the actress and here's what all she revealed to us.

Pooja shared what she felt when everyone got to know about Parth's results. She says, "When I got to know Parth became COVID positive it was disturbing but I was more concerned about his health because he is not just a co-star but really a good friend".

When asked if she feels any kind of fear on shooting on the set now, to which Pooja said, "Balaji Telefilms has always been very careful with the precautions ever since the shoot has resumed. Because in Klick Nixon (set) it's not just Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 but also other 3-4 shows which get shot including Kumkum Bhagya and Pavitra Bhagya. They are taking extra care of us because other than following guidelines they make us drink kadha from time to time for making our immune system stronger. We aren't allowed to touch anyone or property. Sanitisation keeps happening all day and maybe that has helped all of us to be safe from the deadly virus".

Pooja who is also now shooting for KumKum Bhagya as Rhea spoke to us about the set catching fire and she breaking down seeing that, "The day fire broke on the sets I was shooting for KumKum Bhagya till afternoon and after wrapping my scenes, I went to Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 sets which is just next door. And I couldn't stop my tears as I saw the set catching fire, in front of my eyes. I was the only person who was crying. My family wanted me to rest for some days and then get back to work looking at the pandemic situation outside, but I had convinced them saying that there are a lot of people who are jobless right now, so if I have work, I don't want to lose out on it. The very first day I joined Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 shoot after lockdown, Kumkum Bhagya offer came my way. So I got all excited as I got to be part of 2 big shows and that too with all conviction as we shoot in the same compound. As both the shows belong to Balaji Telefilms, I have the same makeup room also. Then in no time, Parth Samthaan (Anurag) tested positive for Coronavirus and shooting came to a halt. And after that when I resumed shooting after 4-5 days with all positivity, this (fire) happened. So I was like no it can't happen again. And probably I was in tears because I had too much fear inside me due to my previous accident on Nach Baliye. When I saw this fire breaking out in front of my eyes, I started crying. After which my cos-stars came running towards me. Like Sriti Jha asked me, 'Are you ok?', I said 'I am absolutely fine. It's just that why is this even happening. I am feeling really very sad.'"
