Internet sensation and Bollywood actress Palak Tiwari has never shied away from talking about her mother, actress Shweta Tiwari, during her recent interviews. Having made a name for herself on social media, she is one of the most adored star kids. She recently made her much-awaited debut with Salman Khan starrer Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan and has been opening up about her relationship with her mother. In a recent interaction she shared how her mom is very particular about spending money.

Talking to Curly Tales about the same, Palak expressed how people have this perception that Shweta is really cool as a mother. While it is true that she can be very understanding when it comes to letting her daughter live her life, she becomes a ‘typical desi aunty’ when spending money is involved. Quoted by BollywoodShaadis, the 22-year-old said, “She is like, 'Kya hai, 20 rupay nahi hai mere paas, apne khud ke 20 rupaye leke aa'. You think I am an adult. I have no rights.” She adds how even if she has started earning her own living, the Main Hoon Aparajita actress handles all her cards. Palak explains how it is her mother who receives all her OTP’s and that whenever she wants to shop online, she has to call her mother and beg her to give her the OTP. For the unversed, Palak is Shweta’s daughter from her first marriage to Raja Chaudhary. The young actress rose to fame in 2021, after she featured in Harrdy Sandhu’s song Bijlee Bijlee. She was last seen on the big screen in Farhad Samji directorial Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. The movie also starred Pooja Hegde, Shehnaaz Gill, Abhimanyu Singh, Raghav Juyal, Siddharth Nigam, Jassie Gill and many more in pivotal roles.
