Netizens have been left in shock. Hours after it was reported that television actress Vaibhavi Upadhyaya passed away in a road accident, actor Nitesh Pandey’s passing made the headlines. According to the reports he passed away on Tuesday night, at the age of 51, due to a cardiac arrest. He breathed his last in Igatpuri, Maharashtra. While the fans and industry friends are mourning his loss, his last Twitter post about being healthy is currently going viral on social media.

On May 5, Nitesh took to Twitter to re-share a post by a netizen, who had shared a picture stating that the best six doctors are - Sunshine, Water, Air, Rest, Exercise and Diet. Commenting on the post, he wrote, “Ikjactly (thumbs up emoji).” Fans have now taken to the comment section of the post to condole his death. Confirming the news of the actor’s passing, his brother-in-law, producer Siddharth Nagar told Etimes that they were on their way to Igatpuri to get his mortal remains and that they would return by afternoon. He added, “Nitesh was much younger than me. He was a very lively person and I don't think he had a history of any heart ailment.” ALSO READ: RIP Nitesh Pandey! Now as per fresh developments, the police have set up an inquiry at the hotel where Padey was staying. The hotel staff and people close to him are being questioned as they await the postmortem reports.

For the unversed, the late actor started his journey as an actor in 1990, through theatre. He went on to act in serials like Manzilein Apani Apani, Astitva...Ek Prem Kahani, Saaya, Justajoo, Durgesh Nandini and Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara. He was also a part of many movies including Om Shanti Om, Khosla Ka Ghosla and Badhaai Do. Being a well-known face on television for the past 25 years, the actor also ran an independent production house named Dream Castle Productions.

Hailing from Uttrakhand, Nitesh got married to actress Arpita Pandey in 2003, after they met each other on the sets of Justajoo. He was earlier married to actress Ashwini Kalsekar.
