Actor Nitesh Pandey’s untimely demise has left the entertainment industry in shock. At the age of 51, he passed away due to a cardiac arrest in Igatpuri, Maharashtra. Having been in the industry for over 25 years, he had made a mark for himself in the hearts of the audiences with his spectacular performances. He was last seen essaying the role of Dheeraj Kapoor in Rajan Shahi’s show Anupamaa. His co-star from the show, Rupali Ganguly couldn’t hold back her tears as she attended his funeral.

On Wednesday evening, Rupali was spotted leaving Nitesh’s residence with her husband. The actress looked inconsolable as she mourned the loss of one of her best friends from the television industry. Posted by Viral Bhayani, the video instantly went viral on social media as fans sent out love and support to the grieving actress. During a recent interaction after the late actor’s passing, she had shared how he was one of the few who constantly stayed in touch with her during her sabbatical. Talking to IANS, she recalled their last meeting. She said, “Just this month beginning, I had gone very late for a get-together and saw his car leaving, so I called him and said I saw you and he said - tu ruk main aata hoon gaadi ghumake, and I said - no no ghar jaa agale hafte milte hai. For the unversed, the late actor started his journey as an actor in 1990, through theatre. He went on to act in serials like Manzilein Apani Apani, Astitva...Ek Prem Kahani, Saaya, Justajoo, Durgesh Nandini and Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara. He was also a part of many movies including Om Shanti Om, Khosla Ka Ghosla and Badhaai Do. Being a well-known face on television for the past 25 years, the actor also ran an independent production house named Dream Castle Productions.

Hailing from Uttrakhand, Nitesh got married to actress Arpita Pandey in 2003, after they met each other on the sets of Justajoo. They have a son Aarav. He was earlier married to actress Ashwini Kalsekar.
