Nia Sharma’s Version Of ‘Main Jahaan Rahoon' Hurts Its Singer; Krishna Beuraa Says, "Not Trying To Sing It, But Making Fun Of It"
Nia Sharma surely hadn't thought of this, but her version of Main Jahaan Rahoon has irked singer Krishna Beuraa. The singer made his displeasure evident to SpotboyE.com
Nia Sharma enjoys a massive fan following on social media, thanks to her terrific sense of fashion. Her acting skills and bold words have also won over her fans, but this time, someone seems to be disappointed with the actress. So basically, two days back, Nia had shared a video wherein she was seen singing the hit number 'Main Jahan Rahoon' with her make-up artist from the film Namaste London. While her followers would’ve surely loved the video, but singer Krishna Beuraa who had sung this song with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan isn’t impressed.
Posting the video on her social media page, Nia captioned it as, "We literally put our soul while singing this song we both love and sing everyday.. @cashmakeupartistry"
As soon as the video went up, fans started sharing it with various fan pages and it reached Krishna Beuraa. It didn't go down well with the singer and he wrote, "Are they really trying to sing it?? Or making fun of Himesh Ji, Me and Rahat Bhai?? One thing I can bet that they will get vocal nodules. If they try one more time specially the green one 🙄".
We reached out to the singer who has lent his voice to some beautiful songs like Maula Mere, Rabba and Soniyo and he seemed highly upset with Nia for disrespecting the singing. He told us, "I respect Nia as a very good artist. Being into the same industry we mutually have to respect each other’s work. Being a singer, I can clearly make out that they are not trying to sing the song, but are making fun of it. The green T-shirt guy along with her is doing more caricaturist thing than Nia.”
He also added, "I don't follow Nia on social media, so I wasn't also aware about it until and unless few of my fans sent me that video saying 'Sir, please see they are trying to mock the song' and it really pinched me. Believe me it was so difficult for me and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan also because Himesh Reshammiya has made that so high. In fact, today also whenever we perform that song in concerts it's not easy to sing. It's not only me, but our Gurus like Nusrat Sahab are also being disrespected. The lines that they are singing are not by Rahat, they are my parts which they are mocking.”
Beuraa further mentioned, "I have politely called out this act. I did not abuse or said anything wrong to them. I posted it because I felt bad about it. Nia's expression was still okay as she was smiling and all but his make-up artist was mocking it more. I also understand that the way we can sing, no one can sing and that's why we are singers, just like I can't act the way she acts as she is a good actor. But being an artist, she should not do this because it's a very very legendary song and not a random party song. It's an intense song and as I am associated with the song. I couldn't resist myself to put out.”
We also contacted Nia Sharma to know her side of the story but she remained unavailable for comment. On work front, the Jamai Raja actress is gearing up for its sequel on the digital platform.
