Neha Kakkar reveals how she and Rohanpreet Singh had once stopped talked as the latter was unsure of getting married at 25.
Neha Kakkar and Rohanpreet Singh's big fat Punjabi wedding continues to be the talk of the town even today. Well, the couple's love story was as magical as their fairytale-like wedding. It was on the sets of their song Nehu Da Vyah that they first met and fell in love. Recently, Neha and Rohanpreet appeared on a popular TV show, wherein they got candid about their relationship and also the time when they had stopped talking. Why you may ask? Well, it because Rohanpreet felt that is young to get married at the age of 25.
The couple, in fact, also stopped talking to each other due to this very reason. However, it was Rohanpreet who made a drunk call to Neha and confessed his feelings to her. She said, "I told Rohu that I don’t want to be in a relationship now. I want to get married. This is my age to get married. Rohu said that I’m just 25, so how can I get married now. So I was like then let’s let it be. We stopped talking for some time.” The singer added, "He was down a few beers at that time, so I thought that maybe he will forget all about this in the morning."
Adding to Neha's revelation, Rohanpreet asked the singer if she remembered what he had said on the call, to which, she replied, "Pi tumne hui thi, mein kyun bhool jaungi,” leaving everyone in splits.
After their conversation, Rohanpreet visited Neha in Chandigarh where she was shooting for an upcoming project. The Punjabi munda also met Neha's mother over there. The rest, as they say, is history.
