Namah: After Vikkas Manaktala’s Exit, Chhavvi Pandey And Sara Khan Follow Suit- EXCLUSIVE

Overnight replacements are quite common in the TV Industry and the latest to join the list are actors Vikkas Manaktala and Chhavvi Pandey who were playing Lord Shiva and Parvati on the Star Plus show Namah. It was reported in Bombay Times that Vikkas has been replaced by Tarun Khanna as the show is headed for a creative change and also the show’s titled will be changed to Lakshmi Narayan. And now we hear that not only Vikkas, but actress Chhavvi Pandey has also quit the show and makers are looking for her replacement.

A source from the set revealed to us that the leads were unhappy with the fact that their track was getting less importance and they were hardly shooting for the show. We contacted Vikkas to know his side of the story and he told us, "Low TRPs and the lack of connect of storyline with the audience.  Since it's a finite series, a lot of creative changes and a lot of changes in the team have happened to make the show viable for the makers. This is what I have been told. I had a small journey but full of blessings from Shiva and I have heard fabulous and endless praises for the portrayal of Shiva. With his blessings, I move forward to the next chapter".


Chhavi Pandey remained unavailable for comment. Along with them, we also hear the show’s revamp has led the makers to show the door to many other characters which include Mrityu played by Sara Khan. On her exit, Sara told us, "Lot of changes have been made in the show. Very few people from the original star-cast will be seen now. I signed the show for two months, but it got extended to about three and half months".

With so many characters marking an exit, let’s see if the makers manage to revamp the show and bring in the desired TRPs.
