Nach Baliye 9: Raveena Tandon On Secrecy Around The Contestants, "Vanity Van Didn't Have Names, It Was Like A James Bond Movie"
Makers of Nach Baliye 9 had kept the list of contestants a huge secret not just from the audience but also from the judges. Read to know how even Raveena Tandon was clueless on sets
SpotboyE.com hadtold you exclusively that Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon will sit on the judging pannel of Nach Baliye 9. The show, which is been produced by Salman Khan, tried to keep everything a secret to make the audience's wait even more exciting. Right from Jodi names to judges and even now when the show is already been aired Raveena herself confessed about this secret idea. The actor reveals, "The launch episode was a blast; we shot for three days non-stop. We had performances by TV stars, who are friends of our contestants, which led to a unique introduction. It’s really exciting and a lot of fun because the concept is so different, intriguing and interesting. The makers had kept the names of the contestants a secret even from us. It was very fascinating to watch it all unfold. Even while we were there, sitting as judges, it was a surprise. They kept it such a secret that even the vanity vans didn’t have the names on them. So, one didn’t know who was inside the van. It was like a James Bond movie set-up".
She also disclosed what kind of a judge this time she will be, "I have always been the kind of person who encourages and motivates others. I don’t think judging means that you only sit and criticise. Everyone is trying to do their best and no one intentionally wants to give a bad performance, but sometimes things go wrong. A judge should be sensitive and give the participants’ morale a boost. A good judge is basically one who points out the goof-ups, but also tells the participant that it’s not the end of the road"

Recently When Salman Khan was asked about why he thought of bringing former lovers together on the show? He said, “Ek ladka aur ladki dost ho sakte hai, break-up ke baad bhi (a girl and a boy can be friends even after break up).” Further to it he added "Zindagi mei ek saath nahi chal paaye, lamba raasta nahi kaate toh kya hua. I just feel we should be okay with everyone. In a particular field if one can't make it then the couple should come, work together and be friends."
