TV actor Mohit Raina has received immense popularity with his character of Lord Shiva in Devon Ke Dev Mahadev. He became synonymous with the show to such an extent that many believed him to be God for real. So, the actor was recently approached to play the character of Lord Shiva again. Owing to his busy schedule, Raina politely rejected the offer. Now, Milind Soman will now mark his Television debut with the show Jag Janani Maa Vaishnodevi- Kahani Mata Rani Ki playing the role of Lord Shiva.

According to a report in Bollyoodlife.com, actor Milind Soman will mark his TV debut by playing the character of Lord Shiva in Star Bharat’s show Jag Janani Maa Vaishno Devi. According to sources in the report, Devon Ke Dev Mahadev star Mohit Raina was approached for the role earlier, but owning to his busy schedule the actor politely rejected the offer of playing the character of Lord Shiva. As Raina backed out from the project, the makers approached Soman for the character, which he happily accepted.
Milind Soman is known to be one of the fittest and handsome stars in the industry, and with him playing the Godly character, his fans are in for a total treat. As the actor-model has not played a character of this kind before, he is keen to see the reaction of his fans in the upcoming Star Bharat show. Soman is known for his versatility in acting and the portrayal of Lord Shiva will surely bring out light on the actor’s skills. The Star Bharat show Janani Maa Vaishno Devi - Kahani Mata Rani Ki airs on September 30 at 9:30 pm.
